Article: Double Dog Dare Success!
September 21, 2019

GMC Corvette Set Corvette Club's own dare-devil, Randy Haas, raised $2,000 for the privilege of "going over the edge". Leader Dogs realized over $60,000 in donations for this event. Word has it that this will be the last time it will be held.
A wind/rain storm delayed the event by 90 minutes so all the participants had lots of time to think about what they were about to do. No one dropped out. As can be seen in the pictures, the remainder of the afternoon was warm with lots of sunshine as Club members and well-wishers waited for Randy to make his descent. He and another participant were the last ones to come down.
The Club members who were at the event joined Randy at Griffin Claw afterword to help him celebrate his accomplishment.
Congratulations to Randy for having the guts to "go down the rope" and thank you to all who made it possible by contributing to Leader Dogs through his entry fee.
