We are a group of Corvette owners and enthusiasts with varying interests
in restoring, showing and promoting Corvettes. Our membership is both
social and show oriented with activities including dinner cruises, picnics,
car shows and road tours. These activities bring our members and Corvette

Gilda's Club Metro Detroit is a second home to many people impacted by cancer. It's a community where men, women, teens and children impacted by any type of cancer can vent, cry, scream and learn about the diseases that they or their loved ones are facing. It's also a place where they can express themselves, laugh, create and simply forget about cancer, even if just for a few hours at a time.
Our nonprofit is located in Royal Oak, Michigan, in a 9,500-square-foot home on Rochester Road. It is in this house that we offer emotional and social support via support and wellness groups, educational lectures, social activities, arts and crafts classes and various workshops for anyone impacted by cancer. We also have a long list of programs for children and teens. Members include cancer survivors, their families and other loved ones.
Because there is no cost to members to participate here, Gilda's Club Metro Detroit relies on the generosity of area businesses, grants, third party events and individuals to fund our organization. All the money we raise supports our local program. Since opening in 1998, we have had 6,000 members join us.
Gilda's Club Metro Detroit, along with 22 other Gilda's Clubs throughout North America, has recently merged with The Wellness Community, a similar nonprofit cancer support group that also has ties to Gilda Radner, our namesake and famous Saturday Night Live comedian who died of ovarian cancer in 1989. Newly branded as Cancer Support Community, Gilda's Club is part of the largest cancer support network in the country.
